Who We Are
Forestry Society of Kenya (FSK) is a membership organization of professional foresters in Kenya. It was registered in 1979 to provide a forum for professional foresters contribute to national development and environmental conservation issues.
FSK is the sole organization that represents forestry professionals and provides leadership to enable all members of the profession to achieve excellence in sustainable forestry and natural resources management.

To build an effective society which promotes sustainable forest and resource management practices through partnership, advocacy, developing regulatory mechanism and providing advisory services.
Mandate
Our mandate emanates from the Forest Conservation and Management ACT 2016. It is our duty to serve and protect the public interest in the practice of professional forestry

Create public awareness on sound forest management practice. Build capacity of the general public and private practitioners on best forestry practices
